Specific Responsibilities

·

Design custom primary research studies in their entirety, from project inception and design through preparation and the delivery of reports and presentations.

·

Select appropriate market research methodology to answer client objectives.

·

Provide input to and assist in the development of client proposals.

·

Manage the primary research process including designing, overseeing and approving key steps within the process itself (i.e. questionnaire design, moderator’s guide, etc.).

·

Run statistical procedures in SPSS on quantitative data sets

·

Where appropriate, select and manage marketing research data collection service providers.

·

Integrate primary and secondary data sources to supplement business and consumer insights.

·

Distill insights from our analyses and offer business recommendations by identifying meaningful consumer indicators and trends.

·

Present your analysis and recommendations to our clients.

·

Build relationships with key internal and external clients.

·

Develop new or advance existing primary research solutions and services to offer to our extensive client base.

·

Ensure your work is disciplined and that you adhere to our quality control procedures.

Experience and Skills

·

At least 5 years of market research analytics and modeling

·

Master’s degree in Statistics or related field desired but not required

·

Strong knowledge of marketing principles and research techniques--quantitative required, qualitative a plus

·

Expert knowledge of all standard multivariate and exploratory approaches

·

Proven experience conducting and leading market research analytics with expertise in segmentation, regression, perceptual mapping, factor reduction, choice based models, and drivers analysis

·

Expert knowledge of at least one of the standard statistical packages including but not limited to SPSS and SAS

·

Familiarity with a variety of data collection methods (i.e. phone, online, in-person, etc.).

·

Competency in end-to-end project management including study design, survey development, data analysis, report writing, presenting.

·

Ability to synthesize research data and identify key insights

·

Experience working with secondary marketing research data a plus.

·

Skilled at triangulating multiple data sources together a plus.

·

Excellent presentation skills, ability to write and deliver highly engaging presentations of findings to clients

·

Client consulting acumen.

·

Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).

·

More senior applicants will have a strong and proven track record in the primary marketing research field, such as, having been on the agency side, or having managed the primary research function for a consumer package goods (CPG) company, consultancy or related industry. Senior applicants will have 8+ years of experience with primary research.
