Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
The position requires five equivalent years of experience in analysis and technical management.
We are seeking candidates with experience in developing critical path method schedule analysis and assessments for construction / public works (transit, buildings, infrastructure, waterways, substations, energy, etc) with the ability to develop independent schedule estimates and perform schedule risk simulation, assessments and modeling. Comprehensive analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships; gather, analyze and present facts, communicate effectively, using tact and courtesy. Proficiency in Primavera (P3/P6) and MS Project and the ability to plan, organize work, and meet deadlines are required.
This position will be responsible for managing several projects, working with consultant, contractor and Government agencies to evaluate construction / program management schedules, perform schedule health assessments, and/or develop independent schedule assessments for construction projects. Candidate will attend and participate in meetings (technical, kickoff, status, reconciliation and program reviews) and workshops (e.g., risk). Other responsibilities include incorporating mitigation strategies, identifying project phasing and construction scenarios, preparing the construction performance schedule, and constructing schedule assessments based various design stages provided by the Government client / agency.
