Medline Industries, Inc, recently named named one of the "101 National Best and Brightest Companies to Work For', has an immediate opening for a Director of Sales, Prime Vendor Capital Equipment, who will provide extensive knowledge and expertise to our sales department and customers regarding growing sales of minor capital within prime vendor accounts. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid education and background in Sales and/or Marketing preferable in healthcare minor equipment or related area and a desire to work for a fast paced, large corporate organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a 'roll-up the sleeves' attitude. Responsibilities Include: Creates and make sales presentations regarding Capital Equipment Program / Product / Services to multiple decision makers. Calls on hospitals and health care facilities within assigned territory both independently and as a team with other Medline sales representatives to expand the sales of the product lines. Assist Medline sales reps with questions via email, phone calls or in person. Follows up with the accounts and/or sales rep on projects, quotes or RFPs. Produces reports to show sales activity and others related Conducts and manages in-services, handles customer product questions and objections. Develop and champion annual and strategic planning process. Develop and implement promotional programs as well.
Bachelors degree 2+ years of related sales experience with a proven track record for success. Excellent presentation and communication skills needed for interaction with customers, sales reps and divisional employees. Exceptional follow-up skills and ability to self-manage time and plan of focus. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently is essential as there will be multiple targets for implementation each with their own set of needs and timing. Strong analytical skills are also important to perform value analysis and create comprehensive reports as part of conversion.
