The Strategic Consulting business of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leader in transportation engineering for over 125 years, is seeking a seasoned aviation consultant to lead its Aviation Finance practice.

Our significant expertise in airport planning, design, financial services and construction services (program and construction management), has allowed us to assist clients in successfully meeting the constant challenges that are part of the aviation industry.
As airport owners and operators worldwide face unprecedented challenges with capacity constraints, financial challenges, and aging aviation infrastructure, the ability to think out-of-the box and create new forward looking solutions is needed. Airports must also meet constantly changing standards for level of service, passenger preferences, technology, safety and sustainability. Drawing on the latest technologies and innovations, Parsons Brinckerhoff offers support to our clients ranging from strategic consulting, private financing and transaction advisory initiatives, alternative energy solutions, and planning/environmental services through to design and construction-phase and operations, maintenance, and lifecycle asset management. In these challenging times, Parsons Brinckerhoff continues to work with its airport/aviation clients to bring new ideas and solutions, and to provide quality professional services that are safe, efficient, cost effective and durable well into the future.
This newly-created position will develop opportunities for business and resource growth, developing pursuit pipelines and capture plans for strategic and financial consulting work for airports and other aviation-related clients. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting PB’s airport program management assignments, expanding our advisory work for infrastructure investors, and strategic project development in the aviation sector.
The successful candidate should have at least 15 years progressively responsible relevant experience, Bachelors degree in a relevant field, and the necessary industry contacts and stature to successfully build and manage the business. Outstanding communication skills and the proven ability to develop business, manage clients, and deliver successful client products will be imperative.
Position is based in Washington D.C , but will consider candidates working out of other locations throughout the United States.
