We are looking for highly motivated, energetic members to grow our Operations Excellence team. Operations Excellence is a group of analytically minded professionals, embedded in the Operations business unit in pursuit of opportunities to achieve exceptional performance across operations through execution, integration, and innovation.
The Principal Operations Analyst is instrumental in identifying, framing, and capturing performance improvement opportunities across operations. Typical duties and responsibilities include:
Identify potential improvement opportunities and business requirements, e.g., through interviews with internal stakeholders and/or comparison with external best practice parties.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of performance levels in existing processes such as drilling, completions, well management, or capital management. Apply internal and external benchmarking to quantify potential upside
Frame/structure topic to create business alignment
Define approach to capture opportunities, e.g., project timeline, required staffing, implementation plan.
Most importantly, the successful candidate is a highly self-motivated, curious, driven over-achiever with a passion for creating significant, lasting change.
Additionally, the successful candidate has following qualifications and experiences:
Proven track record of leading initiatives and teams with at least 5 years of experience in achieving process improvements, possibly as engagement manager with a reputable management consulting firm.
Ability to listen and understand business needs, synthesize and document business requirements, and creatively formulate solutions that help processes run more effectively and efficiently.
Creativity/effectiveness in problem solving and integrated solution development
Ability to create and document business guidelines, process flows, logically structured presentations.
Experience in integrated asset maintenance, well surveillance, drilling/completions a plus.
Bachelor's degree, with 5+ years of applicable experience. MBA viewed as a plus.
Experience with a top management consultant company preferred (i.e. McKinsey, BAIN, BCG)
