Performs insurance underwriting analysis of claim data, loss forecasts & loss layer analysis; ensure accurate investigation, processing & recovery of settlements. Assess the risk of loss to company property. Manage property claims, acting as liaison between business units, insurance adjustors and other outside agencies. Review policies for propriety, including property, excess liability & worker's compensation, nuclear property & liability, directors & officers liability, aircraft & hull, fiduciary liability, executive excess liability and the wrap-up program; and assists in the design and placement of insurance coverage.
Analyze, recommend, implement and maintain insurance contractual requirements. Review of insurance and indemnification clauses in contracts. Act as primary liaison on insurance requirements for the regulated and non-regulated business units/subsidiaries, inclusive of participation on due diligence teams. Represent the Company on industry, professional boards, committees or panels, as well as internal task groups/committees
Self-motivated, works independently, demonstrates professional presence, strong organizational, planning, communication (written and verbal), decision making, analytical problem solving and leadership skills. 10 years related experience, with 2 years’ experience in managing multiple vendors/projects. Bachelor's in business or risk management field, Certification or MBA preferred. Job requires: travel, occasional overtime, working knowledge of electrical utility, risk management, technical insurance and accounting/finance.
