The Senior Process Control Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing a deep understanding in the front-to-back processes as well as various internal and external policies.

Ensure processes and controls are designed and operating efficiently, effectively, and consistently, through coordination with other groups (e.g. Front-Office, Back-Office, Risk, IT, and Legal).

Identify risks and process gaps in manual and automated processes, and making recommendations to management as to how processes can be improved and implement necessary changes.

Assist with system implementation projects, testing and facilitating process and technology enhancements, and process documentation.

Assisting various groups with ensuring that deal entry in Allegro meets cross-functional requirements.

Prepare, monitor and improve key business/trading statistics and process improvement performance indicators and report issues, observations, recommendations to management.

Update daily and weekly PowerPoint presentations including graphs and Excel-based analyses to provide management briefing on key processes and controls.

Assisting with developing and performing a trade surveillance program by analyzing trading data, including review of trade data and reports in ETRM system.

Required Qualification:

In order to perform the accountabilities of this position, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Legal authorization to work in the US for any US employer.

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related discipline.

4 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) firm/risk or system consulting firm.

In lieu of in public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier) firm/risk or system consulting firm, a minimum of 6 years of experience in middle office/internal auditing for natural gas and/or power trading, or a combination thereof.

Solid experience with Front to Back energy trading internal controls, familiarity with process design/documentation, process testing/audit, and process improvements.

The ability to understand various risks and then design and implement relevant processes/controls to mitigate them.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to condense complex concepts into a concise executive-level summary and effectively communicate to executives and external parties.

Intermediate Excel skills required with quantitative analytical skills as well as solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.

Good research skills, experience reading new rules and addressing implications.

Organizational skills and robust documentation/filing practices.

The ability to read, understand and communicate complex legal, regulatory, and policy documents.

An understanding of energy risk management and related internal controls.

Solid understanding of energy derivatives.

Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the above requirements, candidates may also be able to demonstrate:

A CPA, CFA, ERP, FRM, and/or other relevant professional certification.
An understanding of complex/structured energy physical and financial trading.
A general understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting.
Knowledge of U.S. energy trading regulations.
Experience with Allegro Energy Transaction Management system.
Experience with system implementation.
Experience with advanced Excel, SQL, etc.
