About our Client:
Our client, headquartered in VA & with both U.S. and international plants, offices, and research facilities, develops and manufactures petroleum additives that help fuels burn cleaner and more efficiently, engines run smoother, and machines last longer.
Lead Process Control engineers and contractors in specifications development & analysis, programming, simulation, and implementation
Train, coach, and develop direct reports
Provide programming and configuration support for daily plant operation (24/7), technical service, maintenance and project groups
Responsible for improving/adjusting control system programs to meet changing operating needs and improve operator interface (Alarms, Graphics)
Maintain documentation of control program intent & implementation, changes initiated, etc.
Strong applicable experience in control system fundamentals (software and hardware) and their application in Chemical/PetroChemical environment
B.S. Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Min 3+ years’ in supervisory role; 5+ years in Chemical/PetroChemical/Manufacturing.
5-10 years in Control Systems or Process Control role.
Experience with HMI configuration (preferred Wonderware’s HMI); DCS/PLC configuration (preferred Siemens Moore APACS, Siemens S7 and Rockwell Automation Controllogix); and Databases (SQL Server and MS Access) and Networking.
Limited amounts of travel can be expected (5-10%).
