The Process Engineer ( Chemical Processing) will have the following responsibilities:
· Responsible for improving the performance and reliability of Consumable Division manufacturing and related processes
· Identify and drive process-related cost reductions, safety improvements, and quality improvements through new or improved manufacturing processes
· Manage large cross-functional strategic projects where appropriate, with a focus on achieving both financial and technical results
· Support manufacturing operations with day to day issues as needed
· Act as mentor for other engineers, technologists, and technicians in the group where appropriate
· Operate with minimal supervision and oversight
· Investigate and solve complex manufacturing issues while considering all facets of a situation ( safety, cost, quality, output, etc.)
· Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses for capital projects
· Perform time studies on an infrequent basis as needed

Requirements
·
Minimum 4-year B.S. Engineering degree is required; Chemical Engineering is preferred
· Must have minimum 8 years engineering experience
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be highly proficient with standard MS Office software and related programs; SAP proficiency is desirable
· Must be highly proficient in analyzing data sets using standard statistical techniques
· Must be able to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams
· Must have excellent organizational skills
· Ability to handle a constantly changing set of priorities
· Must have well developed leadership qualities
