Under general supervision and following established policies, performs professional engineering assignments
requiring full use and application of standard engineering principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
35%-Perform technical supervision and troubleshooting of complex operations involved in the manufacture of insulation components, insulated rocket motor cases, and rocket motor mixing casting and assembly opperations.
20%-Perform hands on pilot operations for manufacture of new inert / energetic components, and development program components.
35%-Originate, prepare , and maintain detailed planning (Standard Operating Procedures) for the manufacture of inert/energetic components.
5%-Accurately report problems, solutions, and results, in concise written and oral communications.
5%-Perform mathematical calculations for geometric checks and chemical mixtures.
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate science and two years of related technical experience as an associate quality
or manufacturing engineer, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
