Barclays Bank Delaware seeks a
Formulate and apply optimizing methods to design and develop process improvements and make recommendations on policy improvement opportunities for senior management. Analyze and perform root cause analysis for multiple and/or complex processes to recommend and/or facilitate identification and prioritization of process issues, and improvement opportunities that ensure best Return on Investment, customer quality, responsiveness and time-to-market results. Develop process improvement plans and projects impacting multiple functions, organizations and/or systems. Design processes that are used by numerous internal users, often cutting across departments and may have impact on strategic areas of the Line of Business. Investigate, develop and resolve process/issue improvement opportunities and formulate approaches to assigned projects and programs. Provide input to the direction of other department process management activities.
Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or closely related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or as an Operations Engineer, Process Manager, Lean Six Sigma Project Manager or closely related. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in specified fields followed by 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in a position specified above. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. Full term experience must include process management and engineering experience and the following: Utilizing Lean Six Sigma Black belt tools to identify root cause modes for existing operational problems; Utilizing Measurement System Analysis tools to develop baseline measurement standards and conducting analysis to determine the variance between the standard and actual; Defining, measuring, analyzing, improving, and controlling methodologies to improve, optimize and stabilize business processes and designs; Conducting statistical analysis and performance modeling; Utilizing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis to identify potential failure modes based on past operational processes and reduce development time and costs; and Constructing detailed process diagrams documenting key inputs and outputs. 40 hrs/wk.
