RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs and installs new manufacturing processes and monitoring modifications and upgrades to existing processes. Troubleshoots existing manufacturing processes. Manages project, cost and time constraints of projects. Selects, manages and works with sub-contractors. Ensures the manufacturing process works at optimum level in order to meet customer demand. Ensures the manufacturing process meet all specified regulations, i.e. safety, environmental, etc. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies. Maintains and updates plant layout schematics. Operator training including new processes and machine operation. Procure any items as required for all manufacturing equipment that may need replaced for maintenance purposes. Programming of ovens and mold pumps. Troubleshoot equipment and product processing and take corrective action as necessary. REQUIREMENTS: Four year degree: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience. Experience in manufacturing or processing plastics preferred. Three years experience in Mechanical, Process, or Electrical Engineering. AutoCAD and solid modeling experience. Knowledge of CNC programming and PLC programming. Knowledge of statistical process control, design of experiments, Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC process. Interpersonal oral/written communication skills. Green belt certification a plus!

AutoCAD or equal; personal computers, various gauging tools, hand tools, vision measuring machine, comparator, special measuring equipment, chemical analysis equipment, calculator, PLC, sensors, and misc electrical equipment.
