Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching,designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods, equipment and processes; conferring with clinical experts.
Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, existing equipment and layouts.
Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished products and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
Provides manufacturing decision-making information by utilizing production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production capacity and schedules; estimating future requirements. This will be completed for multiple site locations and willrequire knowledge with product cost standards.
Develop reporting metrics for each manufacturing location based on collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Provide leadership to guide initiatives to improve efficiency in targeted areas.
Maintains operational and company reputation by complying with internal objectives and government regulations.
Must be very proficient with Microsoft products and MRP systems to access, analyze and report on trends and targeted improvement areas. Must be able to gain technical knowledge of
the orthotic and prosthetic industry and related custom fabrication technics.

Education & Experience
