Job Summary:
Manage technical projects aimed at product and process problem solving and/or improvements, cost reduction, and profitability improvement. Provide technical assistance to the operating departments to help them achieve the mill's goals and objectives.
General Responsibilities:
Assists in troubleshooting problems and teaching others how to react Assists in the planning and completion of production projects Administratively track any trials, changes and continual production information Assists in organizing and implementing any changes or trials Makes daily checks of production output and contributing factors Promotes daily safety communications while helping ensure a clean environment Process customer complaints offering corrective actions Maintains communications with customers while helping correct problems
Competencies: Experience/Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special License/Certification Required:
None.
