We are currently seeking a Process Improvement Data Analyst to be responsible for Data Information Management. The ideal candidate will extracte data from s SQL databases to create reporting metrics and scorecards. Significant use of advanced analytical tools and data manipulation will be required to successfully develop control charts and dashboards.
Individuals often work independently, exercising discretion and judgment. Provides feedback to management to help prioritize improvement opportunities and monitor performance. Methods and techniques for organizing and implementing data and information management.
Perform data analysis to support ongoing process improvement efforts including identification of baseline metrics, development of KPIs and dashboards and tracking tools.
Develop process maps using Visio, describing the current status of processes
Ability to manipulate information in Excel and MS Access
Maintenance and upkeep of project tracking documentation including action item lists, project plans and summary reports
Work to support facilitation of process improvement workshops with the Process Improvement Team
Proven experience rapidly adapting to multiple new environments either different departments/facilities within one firm or across multiple firms
Plan and facilitate continuous improvement activities and practices with a focus on the elimination of waste and rework, improving quality, reducing operational costs, improving efficiencies and standardizing processes/procedures.
Work collaboratively with the Data Analyst and Training Coordinator to identify process improvement opportunities.
Undergraduate degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, human factors engineering, operations management or any undergraduate degree and >5 years process improvement experience
Advance Power User of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio and Outlook
Visual Basic or C+ programming
Ability to create complex queries
Large data set manipulation especially with flat file extracts from legacy systems
Run reports from an Access databases
Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Desired certifications: Lean, Six Sigma
