Plant location in American Falls, Idaho. No relocation paid.
This position is responsible for setting-up and efficiently running equipment adjusting time and temperature of all processing equipment to include, but not limited to: Blancher, Dryers, Fryers, Cutting Systems, etc. They will monitor the operation of said equipment and make changes as required. It will be their responsibility, under the direction of Supervisory personnel, to ensure that acceptable product quality levels are attained and maintained. For periodic cleaning, they will set-up, monitor and operate all said equipment in accordance with established cleaning procedures. Frequent lifting of up to 50lbs is required,in addition to frequent climbing of stairs, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment, and following all safety rules and procedures. Position Responsibilities Start, stop and operate /monitor all equipment in designated areas.
Set up all line equipment and supporting functions for start-up.
Shut down all line equipment and supporting functions and perform preparatory functions as required by cleanup procedure.
Work closely with Supervisory staff, Quality Assurance, and other Operators to ensure optimum line performance.
Under direction of Team Leader Production, utilize Process Control system to monitor and make adjustments to the lines
Communicate with Process Quality Techs to verify product quality levels.
Perform similar and incidental duties as required by Supervisory Personnel Position Qualifications Previous experience in a food-processing or manufacturing environment is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Required to work weekends and/or shift work.
