Magneti Marelli Powertrain USA, LLC is currently seeking process technicians. The process technicians will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment thoughout the entire facility. Main responsibilites include supporting the production areas of the plant as necessary to maintain uptime and keep downtime to a minimum. Responsibilites also include looking for and identifying process improvements, working with the process engineers to implement these improvements. Experience with PLC programming, robot programming, mechanical and/or electrical modifications are needed. Must be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to handle multiple projects at one time as well as being self directed and able to work independently.
*Minimum of an associate's degree in electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical technology is required or equivalent work related experience.
*Minimum of 3 plus years experience in a related techincal area in an industrial environment.
*Required skills: Knowledge and experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including closed loop systems with and without integrated electronics. Familiarity with AutoCAD, fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, Win98 and 95 and DOS are a plus.Knowledge and experience with PLC's to include troubleshooting, programming, and debugging. Have extensive hands-on practical troubleshooting experience and be able to demonstrate this experience using equipment such as oscillscopes, voltmeters, ammeters, pc's, etc.
