Procurement Analyst required to support Global Supply Chain organization in support of all new business initiatives.
Pricing bills of material and services and coordination with capture management, pricing and suppliers in support of compiling bid packages and customer proposals.
Purchase Orders for subject matter experts and other procurement to support headquarters requirements.
Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes.
Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
Reviews proposals, negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records.
May prepare bid packages.
Bachelors' degree in business related area and 8 years related experience; or Masters and 4 years experience
- Proficient in MS Office Applications, such as Excel, Access, Word, Project, and Power Point
Masters Degree, direct proposal experience.
