Our (UK, US and Australia) facilities are currently certified to ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System).We are seeking a Procurement Manager for our Pasadena, TX facility.Duties include: Prepare and maintain Approved Suppliers List of suppliers of raw materials, packaging and services. Process Purchase Orders and Delivery Schedules on a daily basis. Procurement Research for Plant equipment and Parts Update Vendor Pricing Information in SAP System. Perform and Coordinate Supplier Corrective Actions as required. Negotiate, Manage and Execute Vendor Contracts to include Raw Materials, Utilities, Uniforms, Pest Control, Lawn Services, Forklift Maintenance, Janitorial Services, Office Equipment/Supplies for Plant and Sales Office Locations. Liaison with VP Operations US and Plant Manager on quantity and timing of receipts of materials. Liaison with Product Managers, Lab Manager, and vendors for sourcing of raw materials as required. Assist VP Operations US in Inventory Control Function. Manage Inventory Cycle count weekly for Finished Products and Raw Materials Prepare Quarterly Import Report for Corporate Risk Management Department. Provide and Request MSDS forms for Raw Materials Purchased. Review vendors invoices for processing and forward to A/P for payment. Prepare Quarterly Import Report for Corporate Risk Department. .
Education should include two years college level preferably B.S. in Accounting or Business. 3 to 5 years experience in Purchasing. Should have five years office experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity with computer skills. Prefer SAP and MRP Experience and Knowledge. Ability to manage and balance Inventories is highly desirable. Communication Abilities on all levels. Some travel may be required Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 desirable.
