The mission of Goodyear's Global Procurement department is to create a
new standard of excellence in Strategic Sourcing by leading the industry
in Supplier Innovation and Global Supplier Value Chain Management. This
department seeks to develop and implement industry leading strategies
for the procurement of materials, equipment, goods and services with the
required quality, delivery and cost to support the global Business Units
and Corporate business objectives.

Procurement uses global leverage and concentrated expertise to develop
and coordinate the implementation of sourcing strategies for raw
materials, equipment, goods and services. This includes development of
long and near term commodity strategies, supplier strategies, market
analysis, competitive intelligence, aggregation, supply chain
management, e-commerce and serving as a center of expertise for all
procured items. Procurement interfaces with virtually every area of the

College graduates entering Global Procurement are typically placed in an
entry level position which will allow them to gain exposure and
experience in a number of areas.

U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work full-time in the U.S.

Travel required and will vary by position
Co-op or Intern Experience in Supply Chain fields a plus
Capable of interacting with all organization levels, ranging from entry-level Associates to Goodyear's Senior Leadership Management team
Must maintain confidentiality and strict adherence to company policies

Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Demonstrated leadership and growth potential
Strong analytical and data management skills
Successful candidates should have at least a 3.0 GPA
Supply Chain or PLM (Purchasing & Logistics Management) degree is a plus
Bachelors or Masters Degree
Excellent oral and written communication skills
