The Procurement Specialist provides Neiman Marcus with the highest quality of customer service by leading the daily procurement process for assigned indirect category(ies) with timely support. Ensures customer-focused, efficient, and value-added support of procure to pay transactions and spend management systems administration.

? Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrity in all supplier transactions

? Builds and maintains strong customer relationships

? Provides internal customer service and support to resolve transactional issues with a sense of urgency and diligence

? Oversees procure to pay transactional areas; inclusive of administering data files, managing supplier catalog content, spot buying, purchase order completion, and invoice resolution

? Possesses a good understanding and applies established procurement processes and procedures

? Supports system enhancements through participation in user acceptance testing. Assists with designing application business rules and integration into procurement tools

? Assists in developing and implementing processes and procedures; maintains related documents and records

? Skilled in performing basic analysis, interpreting results, and providing effective recommendations

? Researches assigned categories and commodities for new developments

? Identifies improvement initiatives

? Participates in sourcing events, including but not limited to, defining procure to pay process requirements

? Cross trains effectively with co-workers

? Coordinates meetings effectively

? Seeks out challenges and additional responsibilities

? Must be able to manage multiple efforts simultaneously

? Prioritizes and develops realistic action plans

Minimum Entry Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor?s degree and three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with purchasing software needed; knowledge of ERP systems and/or Oracle purchasing modules preferred.
