WPRI/WNAC TV is seeking a creative, hardworking person to produce our newscasts. The right person will have sharp writing skills, strong news judgment, and experience producing live newscasts for commercial television.
Candidates should have strong leaderships skills, be ready to think creatively, maintain a fast pace, and handle multiple sources, including satellite interviews and live remotes. This person will also write for the station’s websites and must have experience with breaking news and ability to make quick, smart decisions with an eye for presenting a visually captivating story.
A college degree is required. Candidate must be flexible and willing to work varied schedules and possible overtime, including weekends and holidays. Experience with Avid and iNews systems a plus. Must have valid drivers license.
