As a Product Analyst, you play an important role in helping shape the future of Liazon's award winning Bright Choices benefits exchange. You assist the product managers in a variety of areas including product functionality design, user acceptance testing, documentation, and training. You also interface with the engineering team to respond to questions and provide clarification on product feature requirements.
Tests new features being developed, document those features, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and conduct training.
Helps specify requirements for current and future products.
Supports the QA processes to ensure product features are built according to business requirements and that any defects are appropriately addressed.
Creates manuals and collateral for the product.
Designs and conducts trainings for the various users of the product.
Identifies and resolves issues for users of the product.
Leads or supports other projects as assigned.
The following is a list of experience, technologies, credentials, skills and other items which are required for this position. The person we are seeking should clearly demonstrate that she/he has the following characteristics:
1-2 years of relevant experience (product, marketing, sales, writing, or training) preferred.
Brilliant verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain new concepts to audiences with no prior knowledge or information.
Exceptional writer, (personal writing samples are a plus).
Proven ability to write, synthesize and improve existing written material for different audiences and delivery channels (email, manuals, etc.) to effectively communicate the product functionality and philosophy to a range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise on new products and best practices.
Possess the ability to quickly learn new concepts on the fly, present them with simplicity.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in the use of computer programs and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point as well as the ability to quickly learn various software applications.
Familiarity with benefits/insurance industry a plus.
