The Product Content and Configuration Analyst is primarily responsible for the design, development, management, and support of Oracle Configurator. In addition, the role will provide project and development support for systems and processes related with product master data. This position supports the Customer and Product Value Chain (CPVC) team and requires direct management of one or more concurrent projects and related analysis and development activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid combination of both technical and business acumen and a willingness to work collaboratively with a cross functional team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage and support Oracle Configurator models including testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
•Design, develop, and manage user interfaces, configuration rules, and extensions.
•Plan, lead, and actively participate in the design, configuration, and testing of Oracle Applications related to product configuration and order to cash processes.
•Facilitate requirements definition with product management and end users to establish and refine product configuration business rules and user interfaces.
•Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to support the design and maintenance of product bills of material.
•Support the development and alignment of product data models across Enterprise PLM systems including Oracle Agile PLM and Oracle Product Information Management modules.
•Manage and prioritize multiple projects supporting CPVC initiatives.
•Excellent communication/presentation/facilitation skills (oral and written).
•Strong business process design and development experience.
•Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
•Self-motivated, team player that is task oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
•Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
•Experience managing multiple projects.
•Focus on system usability, training, and customer satisfaction.
•Ability to build and maintain cross-functional work relationships with both internal and external customers.
•Experience with SQL.
•Experience with one or more of the following Oracle modules: Bills of Material, Inventory, Configurator, Configurator Developer, Order Management, iStore, Agile PLM, and Oracle PIM.
•Experience developing in Oracle Configurator Developer a plus
•Experience with Java and Configurator Extensions (CX) a plus.
•Knowledge of or experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 a plus.
•Knowledge of other Oracle application modules and technology a plus.
