Partial Job Description
1) Design and test new/special products
2) Support sales and marketing efforts
3) Develop and maintain corporate surgeon relationships
4) Fulfil product realization requirements
5) Collaborate, solicit and incorporate inputs from Sales and Customers, Global Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Intellectual Property, Technical Services for the design and development of special implant and instrumentation
6) Coordinate with project managers to foresee/understand critical project activities and to enable them to manage resources and tasks to avoid critical path slippage
7) Partner with project team members outside of R&D to maintain engagement and focus on development commitments and dependencies
8) Assist in bringing projects to market as quickly as possible with the highest quality
9) Assist in developing project scope, estimate, plan development tasks and schedule development milestones as well as develop a project plan per product realization requirements
10) Conduct design meetings to resolve issues and risks, maintain engagement and focus and share updates with all team members
11) Assist with manufacturing, quality and regulatory related issues
12) Uphold the quality policies of the company
13) Understand and uphold the compliance policies of the company
14) Assist in IP review
15) Communicate the critical inputs for the specials as well as delivery dates with customers
16) Facilitate expedited processing of required regulatory documents as well as design specifications

Qualifications / Skills Required
1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Life sciences industry experience
