For over 30 years, BloodCenter of Wisconsin has assisted pharmaceutical and medical device companies with regulatory studies, laboratory testing, assay development and a variety of other research needs through its Clinical Trial Services. This position supports Clinical and Contract Research activities by participating in the design, implementation and performance of new assays, and troubleshooting and improving current diagnostic assays.

The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, precise, and have strong attention to detail, a collaborative attitude, and excellent technical laboratory skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to train staff and be a liaison with internal and external partners. This role requires a minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience. Experience in one or more of the following is required: techniques for nucleic acid manipulation (PCR, DNA/RNA isolation, hybridization, DNA sequencing, cloning), flow cytometer, ELISA, tissue/bacterial culturing, serology/immunology. A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Molecular Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field is essential.
