Summary:
The Product Information Management Coordinator ( TEMPORARY) assists the Enterprise GC Buyers in acquiring and maintaining accurate supplier item data in order to meet the sales and profitability objectives of the enterprise. Provides information and follow through that refines merchandise data accuracy to continually increase company revenues and profitability, and achieves all assigned department and product category goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management.

Major responsibility will be to act as ongoing liaison between Buyers, Suppliers and PIM team in following data through from source to execution to include Vendor set-up ( & VendorNet), New Item Builds, Item Attribute updates, Images, Data Auditing/Correction etc.

Responsible for obtaining and providing quality assurance for all available item data from the suppliers within their specific product category.

Responsible for following up with suppliers when additional item data or corrections are needed for their specific product category.

Serves as a backup to cross category PIM Coordinators.

Support Buyers by reviewing reports required to properly maintain data. Utilize reports to improve data quality and ultimately product performance; make suggestions to the

Buyer/Supplier to improve performance.

Helps to provide standardization and uniformity for all required item and vendor data.

Modify existing item data when needed.

Works closely with the Heiler System Administrator and other Buyer Assistants to update data and constantly improve data quality.

Maintains all necessary item and vendor master file records and information, including correspondence, ensuring complete data integrity.

Develop and maintain clear communications with all company personnel. Provide the Buyers, Inventory Management and Accounting staff with accurate information, in a timely fashion, so that they may achieve their goals and objectives, following established guidelines and procedures.

Maintain good company image, supplier relations and professional correspondence through many daily business contacts. Answer or respond to all outside inquires and opportunities in a professional and timely manner. Portray a personal and professional image that is consistent with the company’s goals of fairness and honesty to suppliers.

Develop and propose process and procedural changes which will improve operation of the department.

Assists with research and resolution of web related issues by communicating with our Information Technology department.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree.

Two years related experience and/or training.

Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess good communication skills ( verbal and written), organizational skills, time management skills and problem solving abilities.

Strong product and industry knowledge is preferred, must have a strong working knowledge of item data and how it is utilized in downstream systems such as Heiler, JDA, DAX, CAS, Filemaker, ATG, JBS, SRS etc.

A strong background in business with an understanding of mathematical principles, economic fundamentals and business writing.

Must be an outgoing, self-starter that tenaciously follows up with key stakeholders to ensure resolutions.

Must be self-motivated, well organized, show good planning techniques, have a good business sense as it relates to merchandising activities, pricing variances and deadline management.

Represent the department and company in effectively dealing with internal and external contacts is essential.

Proficiency in the use of computers, as well as accuracy and speed in computer data entry and retrieval is required. Knowledge of Heiler, DAX, FileMaker, Excel and Microsoft

Office Suite is essential.

Manage multiple priorities with professionalism by maintaining good communication, a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to enhance current systems and processes.
