Globally, evaluate, determine, and recommend strategic business growth opportunities Lead management of business opportunities from inception through transfer to a receiving product line Create emerging applications vision, strategy and annual plan in accordance with the overall OCS business cycle. Prepare yearly product plans, documenting the business environment, identifying key strategies/initiatives/objectives and executing the same. Develop, update, and drive product roadmap results and prioritize efforts based on determined strategy.Track and prepare for major pricing events. Lead strategy and decisions on major RFQs. Create value propositions that warrant price premiums to Emerging Applications customers. Analyze business financial performance including product costs, sales price, and fixed overhead expenses to identify and prioritize actions/initiatives that maximize profitability. Manage business issues with external customers, external business partners, other Corning divisions, and internal customers. Define and prioritize development prioritization list. Define and recommend manufacturing plan, including: capacity, recapitalization, usage, and efficiencies. Lead teams tounderstand product applications and customer network architectures to identify opportunities for new product development. Manage conflict resolution between commercial and operational groups and make key business decisions involving product line profitability, quality, product development and service.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Science, Computer Science, or other technical field. MBA and/or Masters in technical field highly desired.
7 years experience in customer facing role: sales, marketing, product management, or business development.

Must be willing to travel, internationally. Monthly, expect 20% average and 70% peak.
