We are looking for a game changer. The Product Line Manager for the Women’s Equipment Category will be responsible for driving all women’s equipment business growth. Primary responsibilities will include product research, strategic direction/insight and product marketing across all functional women’s equipment categories, to achieve sales growth in retail and online channels. The candidate will be required to establish short and medium term goals to ensure brand vision and company objectives are met for our global markets. This position requires a unique entrepreneurial aptitude for translating customer needs into desired equipment product and must be capable of supporting the efforts of our Product Design, Engineering, and Marketing team members.

  • Be current and connected to market trends and female consumers
  • Have a broad understanding and empathetic feel for rider needs, likely from personal riding experience, industry experience and working in bike retail
  • Develop competitive analysis for different markets and sub segments
  • Be a leader who exhibits the vision and creativity to drive innovative solutions for tomorrow’s needs with a keen sense of what is driving trends and how to stay in front of them
  • Must be an articulate speaker with strong communication skills who can comfortably inspire large groups to see your vision and future
  • Present product vision, features, and functionality to sales and externally to retailers
  • Be a high performing team member with an open mind and good listening skills who can collaborate across departments and an ever expanding depth of personalities
  • Lead our consumer insight driven product development process for the women’s category
  • Develop the strategy, projects and timelines from which the resource departments and team members can execute the on-time & on-target delivery of innovative market leading product
  • Assist in the business strategy to achieve sales, net margin, and SKU productivity for the assigned categories
  • Review and share accountability for category margin

  • Bachelors’ degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Marketing or equivalent discipline
  • Product management or product development experience (minimum of 3+ years) in the cycling or outdoor related industry (some bike retail experience preferred)
  • Proven knowledge of trends, market drivers, and female consumers in the cycling industry
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in growing product categories
  • Experience working with Asian suppliers and understanding of European and Asian markets is preferred
  • Strong passion for riding and using women’s products
  • Excellent Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to travel (International & Domestic) 15 – 25% of the time
