Higher One’s Product Management Associate will manage the product mgmt team client and market insights agenda. Support product directors with market analysis, business case development and competitive tracking. Lead smaller product enhancement efforts - defining requirements, business benefit, etc. working with Project Mgr and cross functional team.
The successful candidate will be able to analyze consumer trends and expectations, industry best practices, current gaps, market trends based on their research.
*Reviews, analyzes, and prepares evaluations of business opportunities for Higher One’s consumer and client segments.
*Engages in consumer/client research and identifies market needs in order to provide tactical support to the Product Management team in the management and prioritization of the product roadmap.
*Gathers and helps analyze requirements around user experience and unmet needs, and steps toward developing or enhancing current technology projects, in alignment with the company’s annual business plan and strategic goals.
*Has the ability to assist in translating user and market needs into potential and viable opportunities
* Assist Product Management team with understanding new technologies with in-depth research and documentation.
* Monitor competitive landscape for the consumer and client business.
*Other projects to support the Product Management team as assigned
