Responsibilities: The Product Manager - Web Applications is an expert on eBusiness responsible for the functional definition development and ongoing management of the Ingram Micro's global web road map.

This position requires strong knowledge of at least three of following areas:
  • Catalogue search and navigation
  • On-line Catalogue Merchandizing
  • Product Content Acquisition and Syndication
  • Product Configurators and other Rules-Based Engines
  • Sales advisors / Guided selling tools
  • Shopping Basket and Checkout process
  • Cloud services discovery and provisioning lifecycle
  • Order Lifecycle management
  • Content Management Systems
  • Social networking and virtual communities
  • Web Usability
  • User behavior analysis and user flow optimization
The Product Manager - Web Applications will propose recommendations to support localization needs on a global web framework consolidating all functional requirements to produce global web functionality.

Will review ongoing market and competitive developments with regards to B2B web capabilities ensuring that Ingram Micro is able to establish and maintain competitive advantage through the use of online tools.

Will work with the Ingram Micro business operations and vendor business partners to define the business requirements and to propose an appropriate online solution to these requirements ensuring that Ingram Micro's commercial and technical objectives are met.

Will contribute in the design of the web based customer experience to drive customer entanglement and brand loyalty.

Will maximise the depth (share of total spend) and breadth (number of trading partners) of Ingram Micro's web based ecommerce solutions

Will work with his/her eBusiness peers to ensure we maximise the up-sell and cross-sell and MDF opportunities throughout the web visitor experience.

Required Skills Requirements: Education: This role requires a College Degree in Business Management Marketing or eBusiness preferably.

Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in eCommerce or eBusiness roles with responsibilities in at least three of the following domains
  • Catalogue search and navigation
  • On-line Catalogue Merchandizing
  • Product Content Acquisition and Syndication
  • Product Configurators and other Rules-Based Engines
  • Sales advisors / Guided selling tools
  • Shopping Basket and Checkout process
  • Cloud services discovery and provisioning lifecycle

  • Content Management Systems
  • Social networking and virtual communities
  • Web Usability
  • User behavior analysis and user flow optimization
A minimum of 3 years experience in project management involving large / complex projects on a multi-national / global basis with successful development of new business systems within new / complex technical architectures

Successful coordination of multi-disciplined cross-functional high-performance geo-distributed teams.

Demonstrated success in project management execution of multiple high value highly complex projects through globally distributed team of internal and external resources.

Definition and delivery of innovative solutions to complex business problems - especially around global branding user flow orchestration and harmonization.
