Mindspark Interactive has an excellent opportunity for an innovative Product Manager who will drive the conceptual and technical evolution of Mindspark’s toolbar platform. You will be joining a team of inspirational Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to enhance existing functionality as well as introduce new features for the millions of people who use Mindspark’s products. A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE :
Our Affinity Toolbar group designs and builds targeted toolbars to specific niche groups designed to increase Lifetime Value (LTV). This group does not work on one product, but instead builds infrastructures to deliver hundreds of cutting edge products every year (both third-party and internally developed via a toolbar platform). Our software is already used by millions of people every day and we will be expanding with Google Chrome Extensions and portability into mobile. Develop the core software, tools, and API that support all our consumer products
Create features across all products that increase consumer engagement and retention
Develop road maps for new consumer touch points, such as Google Chrome, Windows8 (Metro) and our mobile initiatives
3+ years Product Management experience at a consumer web company
Proven track record of developing and managing products through the entire product life cycle
Experience developing public APIs and Windows-based Client/Server applications strongly desired
Comfortable with Spring, or other Java frameworks
Experience developing Firefox and Chrome extensions
Deep understanding of Direct Marketing and Lifetime Value models
Experience building solutions for Publishers
Strong technical aptitude; programming background a plus!
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Knowledge of consumer facing products.
You have some familiarity with C++, Spring, or other Java frameworks
You are an expert at communicating the roadmap, requirements and execution plan to senior management and
You have a strong understanding of the Browser, Web and OS landscape
You have experience with large scale Content Management Systems
You have strong technical abilities and analytical skills, with deep understanding of the Internet, developer and platform space
Your familiarity with Direct Marketing and Lifetime Value Models is a huge plus
You’re a problem solver and an excellent communicator
