Meda U.S. currently markets a portfolio of products including Astepro 0.15%, Edluar, Soma 250, Muse, Prefera and will soon introduce Dymista; the first and only combination nasal antihistamine and nasal steroid. The Senior/Product manager will be responsible principally for the tactical activities associated with two diverse products in the Meda US Portfolio; Prefera brands and MUSE.

Priority Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic development and annual brand planning process for a portfolio of assets
  • Lead tactical execution across a diverse portfolio of products that are supported through personal and non-personal sales efforts
  • Coordinate with internal & external cross-functional teams (sales, training, managed care, finance, market/sales analytics, market research, agencies, etc.) to develop and implement plans of action
  • Manage brand advertising and promotion (A&P) budget(s)
  • Maintain non-personal promotion for asset

Essential Duties :
1. Collaborate with brand and cross-functional team to build and solidify strategic plan.
2. Evaluate short and long term opportunities to minimize brand weakness/threats and maximize strengths/opportunities
3. Work with business partners to develop tactical plans and promotional tools that are consistent with brand strategies, are easy for the field to use/deploy (if applicable) and will yield a positive return
4. Ensure that strategies, objectives and tactics for the brand are accurately translated to the field via training programs and manuals
5. Ensure promotion budget aligns with planned annual spend
6. Provide commercial input on sales forecasting based on market, product, and competitive understanding
7. Oversee all facets of sampling (forecasting, manufacturing and deployment)
8. Provide/reinforce strategic plan of action for representatives during all POAs
Prerequisites:
  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory, Master’s degree is a plus
  • Proven track record of success
  • 7-10 years of pharmaceutical experience required with one or more of the following disciplines: –
Marketing , sales, analytics, research, operations, training and or trade with a minimum 5-7 year of marketing product management experience –
Advertising agency experience will be considered –
Experience in business planning, issue identification, problem solving and matrix management a plus –
Competent in communicating strategies and executing tactics
  • Results oriented with proven track record of success
  • Strong analytic and planning skills are desired
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
