Role: Product Manager (Skunk works Team)

As we scale our business and continue to innovate, we are looking for leaders that can work in a fast-paced environment and take on broad responsibilities.
As the Product Manager for our Skunkworks team you will be responsible for working on innovative prototypes, finding ways to make difficult problems in our product roadmap possible, making build or buy decisions along with senior leadership. The role requires deep technical prowess along with a strong understanding of the customer and market trends.
Technical hands-on leadership with a proven track record of technical expertise across web and mobile architecture, engineering skills and working in fast-paced cross-functional teams.
Define the requirements and participate in creating the roadmap for innovative prototypes that meet the strategic goals of the product.
Work closely with engineers on rapid prototyping with an understanding of the architecture.
May work with open source software in the productivity space including Open Office, Libre Office.
Will work in a mobile-web client server architecture.
Evaluate build versus buy opportunities.
Work on collaborative editing using technologies such OT, Apache Wave.
Will work with API's and iOS/Android SDK.
Who are you?
B.S./M.S. Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years as an engineer on web or mobile development.
2+ years' experience in managing software products.
An understanding of group productivity or social enterprise applications and frameworks is a must.
An understanding of OT-based collaborative editing is plus.
An understanding of OpenXML and ODF file formats is a plus.
An understanding of mobile client development in Objective-C (iOS), Java (Android) and browser-based technologies is a plus.
Strong agile software development and project management fundamentals.
Excellent leadership, people management and communication skills.
Ability to work with a team of highly skilled engineers.
