Serves as a Product Manager, responsible for working collaboratively with team members and other internal departments to identify opportunities for enhancement and improvement of Angie’s List.com website.
Works to improve member experience and manages ongoing relationships with key partners.
Oversees vision of business to consumer features and functionality, to include, leading cross-functional teams and managing initiatives from concept to implementation.
Establishes analysis programs and measures effectiveness of functionality.
Develops detailed business requirements for user products and manages development, including various stages, of concept, specification, and prototype.
Oversees launch strategy ensuring successful customer communication, internal training, and smooth implementation.
Seeks new market opportunities by leveraging the company's distinctive competence.
Determines buy, build, or partner decisions.
Assess impact and ROI of products through web analytics and business intelligence tools
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Possession of an undergraduate degree in computer information technology, computer engineering, or related degree.
Possession of a graduate degree is a plus.
Agile development process experience required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in software engineering and architecture.
Minimum of 5 years experience as a product manager or development manager for a software product.
PMI and PMP certification is a plus.

Knowledge of and experience in agile development process, web based software products and quick release cycles.
Knowledge of software development and project management processes.

Ability to sit the entire work day viewing a computer monitor and have regular and predictable attendance.
Some evening and weekend work may be occasionally required for deployments and releases. This position is on call in the event of high priority issues.
This position regularly requires more than 40 hours of work per week.
This position spends some time dedicated to supervisory activities and oversees a team of employees.
