This position is part of a high caliber team. As Product Manager you will lead the creation of the next generation, SaaS-based project cost management solution that will transform the way contractors, owners and their partners manage engineering and construction projects.
WHY WORK FOR US?
Work with the Director of Product Strategy to identify, validate, and prioritize industry problems to solve within the space
Engage current and potential customers and subject matter experts to drive a deep understanding of industry requirements, trends, and competitive landscape
Envision and define product requirements and write PRDs
Develop functional specifications for development
Clearly articulate workflows and user scenarios by User Persona
Work closely with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure successful execution of product launch plans
Effectively communicate with Executive Management, Product Development, Marketing, and Sales
Evangelize the solution and drive category awareness
WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO BE THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:
5+ years of construction industry experience, specifically in estimating and/or project controls, or as a product manager of an estimating or project controls-related product for the construction industry
A stable work history of proven accomplishment
Solid understanding of the work processes involved in construction industry estimating and project controls for all types of contracts (lump sum, fixed price, unit price)
Deep understanding of the market trends and technologies that are driving adoption of technology within the engineering and construction industry
Understanding of the challenges faced in oil & gas, infrastructure, commercial building, mining and other large capital and maintenance projects in relation to estimating, cost management, project delivery, project controls, earned value management, and project forecasting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to think big yet still pay attention to detail
BS degree preferred
