The Product Manager acts as a liaison between Sales/Customers and MWV Oilfield Chemicals Division in the pursuit of new business, both short term and long term. The PM recommends pricing strategies and also reviews business opportunities and trends in an effort to prioritize opportunities and make recommendations for resource allocation. HOW YOU WILL IMPACT MWV
Member of cross-functional teams to execute product development projects. Defines customer needs and recommends action plan. Prioritizes new business opportunities. Makes customer visits and presentations. Obtains customer inputs/commitments for new business. Generates new Sales opportunities through various Marketing activities. Monitors and distributes relevant market information. Determines market trends and makes recommendations for new products and improvements, etc. Travel expectation up to 30%. Grades 16-18 considered based on experience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university.
3-4+ years related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
