RJMetrics is looking for an exceptional product manager to join our growing team.

We power data-driven decisions by making data understandable and actionable. We do this by selling hosted business intelligence software to startups and growth-stage e-commerce, social media, and software as a service businesses. We blow our customers away with powerful analytics, ease of use, and exceptional customer service. Our company was launched in early 2009 and is backed by some of the most successful technology investors in Philadelphia, New York, and Silicon Valley. We are located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia.

We have built a custom data analytics platform with a web-based interface, and our company and product are growing fast. We need someone to help manage that growth, and guide it in the right direction. Our engineers and designers are divided into sub-teams that are asked to move the needle on key business metrics . We need someone who will take responsibility for optimizing a team’s metrics by prioritizing projects and then guiding the team through idea-generation, planning and execution.

You will combine your past experience with a curious and analytical approach to understanding our product and customers. You will talk to them, you will analyze their behavior, and you will bring all of this insight to bear when you determine the most important projects for us to work on. You will then see these projects to a timely completion while frequently iterating based on customer feedback. You will recognize weaknesses in our organization and won't hesitate to tell us what we are doing wrong and why . Finally, you will help us hire more people just like you as our company continues to grow.

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Deep understanding of basic statistics
  • A track record of getting things done
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in product management at an Internet company, or other similar leadership experience that you can tell us about
Nice to have:
  • Experience doing data analysis, ideally using SQL
This is a full time position located on site.
