This position is for a proven, high-performance individual with a track record of executing strategic and tactical marketing plans required to develop and rapidly grow our microcontroller business. This person will be responsible for product management of sustaining microcontroller product lines including product position, development of pricing strategies, forecasting, customer support, training, and generation of sale collateral . The job will require close interaction with our direct sales team, indirect channel partners and internal teams (inside sales, marketing, and applications) to help manage and drive our customer engagements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drives commercial success through competitive positioning, pricing, and promotional activities
  • Acts as the primary interface to our external sales team for microcontroller-related customer activities
  • Tracks, verifies, and analyzes product forecasts, revenue, and financial performance
  • Helps to develop and implement pricing strategies, training, and product promotional activities
  • Synthesizes customer feedback for possible use in new product roadmaps
  • Defines and drives microcontroller-specific reference designs, system demos, and other channel-related activities
  • Performs market research and monitors competitive activity
  • Trains the distribution channel on how best to sell our products and assists in increasing overall channel mindshare
  • Other duties as required
Education and/or Experience:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of semiconductor, technical marketing, and/or sales experience
  • An advanced degree may reduce the minimum experience requirement
Qualifications:
  • Experience with working with and motivating direct and indirect sales channels
  • Proven ability to lead and work with internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and customer engagements simultaneously
  • Experience in identifying, managing, and creatively solving problems
  • Strong analytical and database skills
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interface with executives and present comfortably to them
