Technicolor is embarking on an exciting new approach to color correction targeted at the professional consumer who uses color science to enhance the visual imagine of their video product. We are leveraging our existing expertise in color science to satisfy the need for high quality, easy to use and real-time color correction.

Technicolor's initial offering consists of three separate solutions:

CineStyle Profile : A color profile utilizing log color curve technology that resides in a camera or mobile device to optimize dynamic range
CineStyle Color Suite (formerly CineLights): A cost effective, user friendly, primary color correction application based on DP Lights
CineStyle Looks (formerly CineLooks): A custom library of Technicolor designed presets that capture the “look and feel” of real Hollywood content

Our expectation is that this will be a powerful approach to color management and it will be further developed from a licensing perspective in the color space and adjacent areas. In parallel Technicolor will be refining the specifications for a mass market application/solution that leverages CineStyle but also captures Technicolor’s full breadth of capabilities including potentially sound, visual effects and animation.
