Voalte develops smartphone-based communication solutions used by caregivers at the point-of-care. Our client list includes several of the nation’s top hospitals–we’re well funded, and our sales are accelerating. We’re looking for the right product marketing talent to help extend our existing products, and add revolutionary new ones.
In your role as Product Manager, you’ll be called upon to be a product leader, a strategic thinker, and the voice of the customer. You’ll work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to realize the company’s overall product strategies and goals, and will be expected to assume full responsibility for the success of your products. You should be as equally comfortable speaking and working with customers and partners as you are digging into technical issues with developers. You should possess a keen ability to clearly articulate customer and market requirements into product requirements with the data needed to defend the business case for each of them. Ultimately, you will be the owner and primary champion for your solutions, and will be empowered to ensure their success.
Requirements 5+ years experience working in software, communications, or other technology-related industry Ability to analyze markets, competitors, and business opportunities. Experience developing business cases. Possess excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate product requirements, positioning, and justification. Strong oral communication skills with the ability to persuasively present to internal and external stakeholders at all levels (executives, R&D, customers, partners). Familiarity with mobile technologies is a plus. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree (computer science or engineering is a plus)
Responsibilities Drive product strategy based on continual interactions with prospects, customers, and partners. Specify market requirements for current and future products. Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical launch activities. Influence, and lead, staff members across a variety of disciplinary teams. Develop, implement, and manage beta programs. Conduct market and competitive analyses. Support marketing teams with go-to-market activities.
