The Product Marketing Coordinator will partner with product managers to develop solution-oriented marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales pipeline with qualified leads developing into wins. Working under the direction of a product marketing director, the junior product marketing manager will identify target markets, create plans for marketing campaigns and promotions, and lead development of a messaging document with key stakeholders. This role will work closely with other operational areas within marketing including marketing communications, web marketing, field marketing and demand generation marketing. Messaging will be incorporated into assets including collateral, email, direct mail, battle cards, PowerPoint, and briefs/white papers as fulfillment for campaign execution.
Work as a part of the marketing team to develop strongly differentiated product solution positioning and messaging to support sales efforts through creation and execution of lead generation and promotional campaigns
Collaborate on the execution of outbound marketing strategies to improve awareness, share of voice, sales pipeline and market position
Develop solution-oriented sales enablement tools and training for field sales force and reseller partners
Identify and understand competitive product offerings to help develop and distribute relevant information and competitive intelligence to Sales, Product Management, and Channel Partners
Interacts with product management and key stakeholders to guide, coordinate and execute strategic marketing messages through a variety of formats (print, online) and other tools as required to effectively communicate with external audiences, including customers, partners and prospects
Actively participates in brainstorming with other members of the marketing group to generate creative campaign strategies and tactics for new product launches and product enhancements
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
1 - 2 years of product marketing experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent writing proficiency, strong creativity in message development and presentation skill
Experience and/or knowledge of HR, payroll, tax technology and solutions
Ability to translate complex product information into a compelling business value proposition
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a high volume of projects
Ability to work across the organization, build partnerships and foster a collaborative work environment
Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects
High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant supervision
Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Adobe Suite and Internet browsers to research and develop programs
