RMS, renowned as the innovator and world leader in catastrophic risk modeling, is once again bringing monumental innovation to risk management solutions for the insurance industry. Our new RMS(one) platform will further extend our leadership by delivering a holistic, integrated, and open real-time risk management platform implemented and delivered via the cloud. Our client end users will benefit from a unified user experience for visualization of complex analyses, streamlined workflows, and automated business processes that heighten productivity of their typical work activities. These benefits include and require integration with the client's existing systems as well as with new client-created and third party applications that will be available on the platform.

This is an exciting time to join RMS to become a key contributor to the launch and ongoing success of the RMS(one) initiative, and help transform how the insurance industry manages risk and more efficiently conducts its business processes. Our platform product marketing team needs an awesome Product Marketing Super-Star to ensure the market understands the capabilities and corresponding value of integrating their existing and future systems and applications with the RMS(one) platform. This role is critically important to help drive the adoption of this unique and modern solution into the insurance industry.

Goals and Responsibilities:
  • Become the respected subject matter expert for the integration capabilities of the RMS(one) platform
  • Own and articulate all messaging for the platform launch and ongoing market awareness campaigns addressing all integration points and the platform's evolving suite of application programming interfaces (APIs)
  • Evangelize the value and benefits of the RMS(one) platform, specifically its APIs and how they facilitate the growing ecosystem in addition to client-side integrations
  • Drive the creative process to deliver compelling marketing content, collateral, and presentations in all appropriate media formats that sweep aside objections and enable clients to understand and embrace the capabilities and benefits their will derive from the platform
  • Support sales to provide information that addresses current and prospective client information needs
  • Guide existing clients to appreciate how they will benefit from comprehensive use of the platform, especially the automation of workflows and business processes
  • Articulate the competitive advantages of the RMS(one) platform
  • Identify and convey insight of relevant market requirements and trends to stakeholders within RMS
Skills and Traits:
  • A strong understanding of Internet-scale systems and system integration
  • You must know the following (hands-on experience is a strong plus): RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and related technologies
  • You must be knowledgeable about modern software develop processes
  • You must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills; creative skills are a plus
  • You are able to effectively communicate internally as well as to current and prospective clients at all levels
  • You are capable of creating and delivering marketing content and collateral in a variety of formats and media
  • The following skills are a plus: public speaking, presenting, and live product demonstrations

Additional Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Marketing/Communications or Technology; an MBA is a plus
  • 2-5 years Product Marketing experience
  • API and systems integration fundamentals strongly preferred
  • Automated workflows and business processes management experience
  • Experience within or with any of the following are a plus: re/insurance and risk management, commercial insurance, P&C insurance
  • 2 or more years' experience with enterprise software solutions; cloud-based/hosted solutions and/or solutions a plus
  • 2-5 years analytical software/technology product marketing experience a plus
  • Sales support/sales enablement is a plus
  • Some domestic and international travel required
