SoundBite Communications, a leader in proactive, multi-channel customer communications, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to join its corporate marketing team.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for packaging, positioning and launching SoundBite’s products and solutions, including developing and managing innovative marketing programs to drive demand. This key position reports to the Vice President of Marketing, working closely with all members of our Hosted Contact Center and Mobile Marketing Business Units.
Develop product positioning and messaging to differentiate SoundBite’s offerings
Develop and implement the overall go-to-market strategy for SoundBite's products and solutions, including managing multiple product launches throughout the year
Gather and maintain market intelligence on the ecosystem and competitive landscape, updating key stakeholders and preparing communications and sales materials as appropriate
Define and create sales enablement tools, such as presentations, data sheets and demos to support the selling process
Develop, launch and manage marketing programs designed to generate demand and develop sales pipeline opportunities
5+ years of software product marketing experience for a B-to-B, high tech organization
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
Competencies and Attributes:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven project management skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
Collaborative team player who is willing to work cross-functionally on programs and initiatives
Hands-on experience in a CRM tool, preferably Salesforce.com
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
