Product Marketing Managers bring the voice of the target customer into everything they do and evangelize solutions to the target market. This necessitates having a deep understanding of both the user and buyer persona- who the potential users and buyers for our products are, how best to reach them, and what problems they face as well as articulating how the products solve these problems. The role is also responsible for channel marketing strategies, setting the direction for continued leadership as we evolve the platform. You will clearly define and execute disciplined go-to-market strategies, and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to develop marketing campaigns that deliver on awareness, interest, consideration, and trial. Responsibilities:
  • Leads the development of product solution messaging for the Product Marketing Team.
  • Collaborate with product management in the creation and specification of market requirements for current and future platform features by conducting market research supported by on-going contact with customers and non-customers
  • Interface with key industry press and analysts
  • Lead cross organization team to ensure product and solution launch cadence and message is effectively landed with channel partners, sales teams and support at various industry events
  • Deliver research-driven consumer insights to help shape product direction and inform value prop framework
  • Drive product marketing efforts such as defining and implementing a customer communications strategy and developing collateral that optimally positions the strengths of our products

  • BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus
  • 5 years of successful experience in marketing, field marketing, product management, in a high tech industry
  • Experience with sales team and sales leadership
  • Knowledge of enterprise marketing and sales processes
  • Strong ability to understand the technology and develop product marketing messaging and marketing plans. Produce product collateral such as customer presentations, web casts, and case studies
  • Strong technical, organizational, analytical and execution skills
  • Understanding of networking and security technologies is valuable but not required
  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically

  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane
  • Can do; get hands dirty, starter-finisher mentality
