Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will work as the main liaison between the product and sales team, helping to bridge market needs to product development, and clearly translate technical features and capabilities into benefits and value propositions.
The Product Marketing Manager will drive all sales enablement activities, and be responsible for developing and communicating buyer and user personas and related information to our sales, services, and product teams.
This individual will also oversee and execute on all positioning and messaging for software, content and professional services solutions. The individual will own and market research and competitive intelligence.
The Manager will help to craft forward-thinking inbound and outbound marketing campaigns to drive demand and will assist in the development of sales and product materials and content, and manage supplier/vendor relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Translate market needs to product and professional services leadership to guide development of new software, content, and services solutions
•Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiate products in the market
•Help launch of new products and releases and collaboratively manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan with the product, sales, and services teams
•Sales Enablement: Clearly communicate the value propositions of our technology and services to sales and professional services teams and develop tools (collateral, sales presentations, proposals, and sales scripts), product positioning and training materials for the teams
•Create, maintain, and disseminate market intelligence and expertise on buyers and users, how they buy and buying criteria (persona development); also act as the master of competitive analysis and provide to internal teams
•Develop white papers, case studies, webinars and other thought leadership content
•Build, execute, and measure the success of lead and demand generation programs
•Additional marketing projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS:
•5+ years of health care industry (provider, payer and/or solutions) product marketing experience required
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or other related field
•Excellent verbal written communication skills
•Superb people and management skills to interact with cross-functional teams and third parties.
•Strong organization and project management skills.
•Expert at multitasking, meeting urgent deadlines, handle multiple priorities.
•Adept at Word, PowerPoint, MS Excel.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Demonstrated creative skills.
•Self-starter, ability to drive projects and marketing initiatives
