We are currently looking for a Product Specialist to join our team. This is a substantial leadership and growth opportunity as you will be driving the sales process for products beyond our core retargeting offering. You’ll work closely with Sales - attending meetings and calls to help drive client strategy and leading technical implementation for our new and more complex products. You’ll also work closely with the Product team, providing invaluable, detailed, constructive feedback and development ideas. Beyond sales, you will lead impactful and highly visible cross-functional projects that contribute meaningfully to AdRoll’s rapid growth.
In this position you will:
Be a member of a scrappy, new team within AdRoll
Gain a deep understanding of our product capabilities and new product roadmap and leverage for solution selling
Work with the Sales and Account Management teams to understand client requests for non-standard offerings, accurately assess potential opportunities, and drive custom and technical implementations for campaign launch
Empower the sales team by leading training sessions on our newest, most exciting new products
Create and contribute to internal and external documentation to help sales and clients get the most from AdRoll’s key products and features
Bring valuable insights and product feedback to our Product team in an organized, actionable format to facilitate ongoing client-driven product development.
3-4 years experience in digital media and online advertising with at least 2 years in performance display.
Familiarity with ad exchanges, programmatic buying, and direct response advertising.
A technologist at heart - passionate and knowledgeable about the Internet, digital media, and emerging web technologies.
Candidates should understand and be able to explain the following to technical and non-technical audiences:
HTTP protocols, methods, responses, and headers
Ad serving and major providers (Doubleclick, MediaMind, Atlas, etc.)
Understands the big picture and helps unite others around doing the right thing for our clients and long-term business objectives.
BA/BS degree, preferably from a top university. Technical or analytical discipline preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, inquisitive, and ambitious personality able to think outside the box.
Team player / collaborative operating style. Love making those around you better.
