Summary
The AppNexus Product Specialist maintains a single-minded focus on ensuring that customers are incredibly satisfied with AppNexus platform. This entails imparting deep product expertise, highly responsive and professional communication, creative problem solving, and effective coordination of internal resources.
This role is perfect for someone who has 1-5 years of work experience, has a quantitatively-oriented degree from a top-tier school, is comfortable with SQL, JavaScript, and relational databases, and loves to put their deep analytical skills to work solving problems for customers.
Responsibilities:
Provide post-implementation product support to AppNexus customers
Manage customer support cases on a daily basis, which includes verifying cases, analyzing data, isolating and diagnosing the problem, and resolving the issue where possible
Coordinate with Product Management and Engineering teams in identifying, reporting, and resolving product issues
Author, edit, publish and maintain an on-line knowledge base of known issues/solutions
Share knowledge with Client Services team members
Requirements:
Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment
Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Experience in a customer-facing technical role is required; a Technical Support role is preferred
Outstanding written communication skills
Tenacious commitment to finding the root cause of issues
Technical skills in:
Internet technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, web servers, and other internet/networking-related protocols
SQL scripting and relational databases
APIs, particularly RESTful is helpful
A quantitatively-oriented degree of any variation from a top-tier school is required; a computer science degree is helpful
