We are looking for a Product Specialist who would be responsible for generating, demonstrating and selling integrated workflow systems that consistently maximize revenues, margins and market share. This role is responsible for creating market demand primarily for EFI’s total workflow system leveraging the power of Fiery and Fiery Central as well as other product offerings.
Drive workflow (and integration) sales through direct sales by building awareness, training programs and targeting key accounts for demonstration and sales activity support. The goal is to increase penetration of Fierys to our MIS base and competively positon/sell the value of our Fiery and MIS solutions.
Develop and execute Account Plans including existing and desired workflow diagrams
Execute EFI sales, marketing and support strategies to overachieve revenue and product goals for Fiery Central, integrated Fierys, and associated services
Establish and maintain strategic and tactical relationship at all levels of targeted accounts and prospects
Support the EFI field SDM’s that work with our OEM Partners and Dealers to better understand how to leverage the power of EFI workflow solutions and integrated products
Liason with Account Managers, Sales Directors to leverage EFI resources and capabilities towards revenue achievement.
Effectively partner with TSSs, SDMs and Sales Leaders to assure our sales tools and sales efforts are being scaled across the whole sales team to successfully train everyone to sell the total integrated story. Maintain that all sales tools are kept up to date and current.
Understand competitive products and positioning and create EFI strategies to maximize market share. Be able to monetize the value of EFI’s workflow and demonstrate the lost profit in accounts that don’t use Fiery with our MIS.
Work with product management and integration teams to assure effective delivery of real solutions that create compelling value for customers
Create a workflow data base that identifies best practice workflow systems which EFI can replicate worldwide to achieve maximum performance and throughput in similar scenarios
Build a significant referral base of customers that use EFI’s total workflow
Provide regular feedback to corporate marketing, engineering and manufacturing regarding EFI products
Provide timely and accurate territory reporting and forecasting to EFI management
Maintain a pipeline of opportunities by working with the direct SDMs to be selling total workflow. Target new MIS sales as well as work with existing MIS accounts to sell the missing pieces of workflow
Position EFI as the industries foremost leader of total workflow by working with marketing and Public Relations to get the coverage required worldwide to highlight the overall value prop
Further develop EFI’s market presence in a creative and entrepreneurial style by positioning EFI as a leader in this marketplace
Superior verbal and written communication
Excellent presentation skills with professional image and demeanor
Detailed understanding of customer workflows: Pre press and short run color
Extensive knowledge of color management methods and software
Familiarity with alternative print processes: laser, digital press, offset, inkjet, thermal transfer, dye sublimation
Familiarity with traditional print production equipment and workflow, along with the position EFI plays in that industry.
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience and Education:
Demonstrated success in sales
Self starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
At least 2+ years of experience in sales or marketing (preferably in the printing industry)
B.A. or B. S. or equivalent
Autonomous, pro-active personality with good communication skills
Good understanding of technology, able to install server and to conduct technical presentations
Knowledge and understanding of the market trends
Skills in indirect sales (dealer/distributor/OEM)
Marketing background but technical understanding
English language skills
Solid interpersonal skills, team oriented
