Assist in the planning, implementing, and controlling of marketing related aspects of the intraoperative nerve monitoring business to include medical device capital equipment and disposables; participate in long-range strategic planning and short-term tactical execution; develop and implement training events and collaborate with Clinical, Engineering and Sales personnel including working with physicians/researchers in teaching hospitals; achieve planned sales and profit growth rates in the product line by bringing innovative new products to market, maintaining strong business relationships with key industry opinion leaders, and actively supporting the field sales force; help achieve growth of product line sales and profits; influence manufacturing operations as well as research and development priorities and projects; operate in a matrix organization, prioritize activities, and allocate resources for greatest effectiveness; navigate in an FDA regulated environment; work in a hospital operating room; interact with clinical, engineering, and sales personnel within a framework which respects intellectual property rights; create and analyze market trends; and, analyze market trend reports and determine customer needs. International travel required 30% to 40% of the time.

Master’s degree in Marketing, Biotechnology, Biology, or health related field, and two years of experience in the medical device industry, or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Biotechnology, Biology, or health related field, and five years of experience in the medical device industry. Must possess two years of experience in: marketing or sales with neurological, neurophysiological and/or ENT medical device capital equipment and disposables in a regulatory environment; and, establishing strategic and tactical direction for medical device product lines. Must possess one year of experience in: Gathering Voice of Customer (VOC) input for product development purposes; and, collaborating with clinical, engineering and sales personnel within an intellectual property rights context. Must possess experience in development and implementation of training events for ENT, Neuro and/or General Surgeons; and, working with physicians/researchers in teaching hospitals and in an operating room environment. International travel required 30% to 40%
